Dear Cycling Family,

What is our job about ?

Our real job is not to make world's best urban cycling jacket. Although we are quite good at doing that. Our real job is to get people on their bicycle. If you already ride a bike, we want you to do more and go further. And for the one who do not ride a bike yet, to make them start. This is our real job. This is our why. Our job is to send a message to people around the world: Get on your bike now!

This is the reason why we created this event: the MOVA Rodada! 
Panitas de Bogotá, este evento es para ustedes! Necesitamos mandar un mensaje al mundo y podemos hacerlo juntos. Ustedes son nuestra razón de ser! Los queremos conocer y compartir con ustedes!!

What? We meet up, listen to music, drink & eat and ride bicycle around the city. It's a social bicycle event, perfect to meet new people and spend some time with some friend. Yes, you should invite your friends to come by with you.

When?
June 10th - Starts at 12.30 for a lunch with the MOVA team. The Rodada will start at 2.30

Where?
La Guarida - Carrera 27a Bis # 61C - 06 - Bogotá, Colombia (Costado Norte del Coliseo del Campín). This is the center of the urban bicycle culture in Bogotá and we have our studio there, on the third floor. 
If you live in Bogotá, this event is for you. If you do not live in Bogotá, we will share picture & videos with you so that you can imagine what it would look like in your city :)
We really hope you will come, so please save the date! 10th of June!

Sizing Chart Help!

Dear Cycling Family,

We are all unique and we all wear MOVA in a different way. We know how sizing is critical to you! Thanks to many suggestions we decided to take picture of ourself and our friends to help you chose which size better works for you. We know pictures are not super pro. If this strategy works, we will invest more time in making them look better.

Please keep on giving us feedbacks in the comment if you think we can make this better. It really really helps!
Stuff you need to consider:

- It's all about YOU! How do you like to wear your jacket? How do you want your jacket to look like on your body? Which kind of use do you plan for the MOVA? When our friends were answering: which jacket you would use best, they all had different reasons. So you should think about that as well :) 
- Do you want to wear something else under your MOVA ? Like a sweater ? If yes, you might want to add an extra size to feel really great in your MOVA, no matter the cold. 
- If you have any doubt and that you are an "in-between-two-size-person" go for the larger size.

If you do not see your look-a-like body in our pictures, please let us know. We will try to fix that asap with a friend of ours that might look like you :)

HOW TO CHANGE MY SIZE ?
If you just checked the pictures and thought "humm I'd better go with another size" you can update your jacket's size in Backerkit.

¡New Sweater Features and Laura in México!

Dear Cycling Family,

So many of your ordered the sweater it would be cool to make a deeper presentation about the improvements we did to make this sweater greater that it is. It's also an opportunity for the one who did not pledged for a sweater to do so via Backerkit!

We actually did a Youtube video about that :) We would love your comments about the sweater. Any improvements idea would be great! 

 

MOVA: THE COMPANY

Last year, we started our first Kickstarter campaign. We created the MOVA Jacket. Thanks to you we are building a greater product. We are now four people in the team. The four of us share the same passion for cycling & travelling. We all want to discover and travel every continents. And we believe one of the coolest way to do so is by promoting our company! So here we are in Mexico !

Laura (in the middle of the photo with the Hi Vis Orange Jacket) was last week in Mexico. She was showing our products during the World Bicycle Forum held there last weekend. We are proud to be part of this broader cycling family. We are proud to change the world with other. We are proud be everyday cyclists. Thanks for supporting us in this challenging adventure.

MOVA Riders - About products and survey - Please read carefully

Dear MOVA Family,

We are about to send the survey :) But first you should carefully read this update to be sure to understand what we are talking about ! From today to Monday, expect an email. What should you look for? An email from MOVA with the subject line "Response Needed -- Get your reward for MOVA Cycling Jacket, world’s best cycling jacket" In that email is a link to fill out your Kickstarter fulfillment survey. In this survey, you will tell us the following:

• The Waterproof Zippers add-on (go for it! It’s such a cool stuff)  
• Your shipping address & your phone number - it’s a requirement for shipping. 
• The colors/sizes of the products included in your reward level. 
• A little bit about yourself, so that we can better understand what kind of stuff we should think about making next (your responses here are exceptionally helpful to us, but you can also opt out). 
• What additional items you'd like to purchase (at a discount) and have shipped with your KS reward. This is your last chance to get additional products at special prices. Any additional item you add will be shipped with the rest of your reward, scheduled to leave our Studio in September timeframe. 

SIZING HELP!

We always try to make your MOVA experience better. And one of the problem you have when thinking about your jacket is the size! And we know that no worries :) We want you to pick up the size that will meet your expectations. If any suggestions, let me know about any ideas you have in order to improve that experience. Here is what we have for you right now! What more? Let us know!

HOW DOES THE ADD-ON THING WORK?

In a previous update, we asked you if you were interested in paying a little extra (9 USD) to upgrade the zippers from normal to YKK waterproof zippers. And you liked the idea! Since we did not include this cost within our initial plans, we decided to ask you if you were interested in paying a little extra to get these. And over 500 people said yes! This was a fantastic moment of us :)

PS. the 9 USD represents the cost of the zippers. We are not making extra money there.

Apart from the waterproof zippers, you can add on whatever products you want to your reward. And you can pay these add-on products via credit card.

CAN I BUY MORE PRODUCTS AT SPECIAL PRICE?

Yes, and this survey is your last chance to do it. You are saving money on the product but also on the shipping! Think of someone you love and that you would love to share a bicycle ride and get him or her one of our products! Or maybe for yourself!

Fans of MOVA usually always have 2 jackets in order to always have a clean and tidy jacket ;)

When you finish your survey questions you'll be presented with a screen that looks like a web store, and it includes every product MOVA makes: the jacket, the sweater and the jersey at special price. Here you can add whatever products you want to your reward.

WHAT IS BACKERKIT?

BackerKit is a 3rd party service that helps project creators like us make our backers happy by sending out easy-to-use surveys and giving them another chance to take advantage of our Kickstarter discount. So, please don't be alarmed by the backerkit.com URL or the BackerKit logo at the top of the survey...you're in very trusted hands. ;)

WHY ARE YOU ASKING SO MUCH THINGS?

We're an entirely crowdfunded company, so we have no investors in the legal sense. The closest thing we have is you, our Kickstarter backers, who help us bring new products to life and shape the future direction of our company. Simply put, we want to know what makes you tick, so we can continue to design great products that solve your needs. We will have a very careful look at your answers. And this will help us to get more people on bicycles :)

We also pour tons of effort into these Kickstarter campaigns...not just in the design and development of our new products, but also in reaching new people who we think would get inspire by what we do. We want to get a sense for what efforts paid off and where we can improve moving forward.
