Production started. And things are going great.

Your jackets, sweaters and jerseys are being manufactured right now in Bogotá. WE ARE SO HAPPY! You can't imagine (or maybe yes a bit) how hard it is for us to get this project that far. And the jacket we are making for you guys are truly unique. It's an amazing product. It's so beautiful.

About shipping:- Yellow/Black Jackets: Shipping from the 20th of October.
- Other jackets: Shipping starts 15th of November.

Can we do 67 amazing red black MOVA Cycling Jacket?

Dear Cycling Family,

Good news for today's update! Especially for people who pledged for a red/black jacket or for a jersey. Lafayette (our fabric provider here in Colombia) just confirmed that they could do the minimum red fabric quantity required.

We will only do 67 red black MOVA Cycling Jackets.
And normally we should not be doing this model in 2018. So it might be unique models :). If you are part of those, feel lucky and send us some love haha.

That's the kind of artistic thing we love doing for you. It's a very little quantity and we really did struggled to do that. We are pouring a lot of energy in making everything perfect for you!

Regarding the jerseys we improved them A LOT (in secret)! Colors are now amazing. We integrated inner pockets and gave it a much more urban twist.

We are very excited about this new product! We will show you every single details about it in next week's video. Normally it will be available in pre-order on our website for the ones who would like to catch up.

We have been working on the stickers, and packaging and a lot for other tiny details Stickers should reflect light. And the package will be recyclable. To MOVA's Team, details matter. Additional to that we are planning Bogota's Launch Party. If you are planing to travel to Bogotá (let us now!!) or if you are from Bogotá, you will receive a free invite to our launch party. Fiuuuuuu and that's just the tip of the iceberg. So many things going on! :)

Dear Cycling Family,

Awesome and exciting news! We are starting production in a few days! We just checked out the last details with our provider including a small modification with the neck, better movement possibilities taking into account cyclists' posture. We adjusted the front waterproof zippers (images will come soon).

In this short video we also talk the new stickers we have designed for you. We also show some part of Bogotá such as the swamps and other cool place you should visit if you come one day here.

We are still not available to give you a perfect shipping date. We want the date to be perfect and we are still waiting for additional elements to comment on that ;) Hope you understand.

Reparation of a MOVA Jacket

Dear Cycling family,
Today we would like to talk about one thing that really matter to our company. It's actually one of the core value of MOVA: We want our products to have the minimum environmental impact as possible.

This is why we work with top quality fabrics and great suppliers. We ensure that what we make is made to last in the time. The more it last, the less you need to buy again. And that's good for our planet. This helps mitigate the environmental footprint of MOVA Cycling.

Still, products brake. We are not perfect! We are working to have 0% default on our products.

So when we have a problem in a jacket in Bogotá we repair it. This reparation service on our products is 100% free of cost. A bike messenger goes directly to your home, takes the jacket. We then fix it in our workshop and send it back to you. This is what we explain in this video for example. Lina, from Bogotá got her jacket fixed. You can check it on our YouTube Channel :P

We make jacket that really last. And when they brake, we to fix them. This is one a concrete action we take. But not the only one :)

You might ask: Is this a service that only works in Bogotá? Yes. Still. since a zipper (or anything else) brakes, we will send you the input in order that you can fix your jacket directly in your country.

Production Starting Soon. Might have a little delay

Dear Cycling Family,
Everything is going fine here. We had some pretty exciting times because lots of things are moving forward.  

Thanks to Peak Design, a great company we know because they also work through crowdfunding, we were able to find a new waterproof zippers supplier. 

We received the samples and were so happy, the quality is comparable with the ones of the YKK samples we had. Moreover, Peak Design, who recommended us their supplier, has a life guarantee on their products! So YES, we found a solution.

Here are some brief and important news about the production of the jackets:
1. We are waiting for the zippers to get to Colombia, they should arrive in 27 days. This will force us to pause our production for a moment. Without them, we can not finalise the production. This will cause some delays, but not a whole month, because the factory accepted to start cuting the fabrics right now. 
2. We have an issue with another input which is the Red fabrics. We will tell you more about that in next week's update. If you have a ordered a red jacket, you might have to be ready for a colour change. For now, just relax, Daniela is trying hard to fix the issue with our supplier.

The waterproof zippers idea and the related issues clearly delayed our production. So yes, we should start delivering the jackets and sweaters by mid october according to today's plan. We are so sorry about the delays. And we are working hard to make things happen as soon as possible.

The good news is that we will show you the production and we will keep you informed of how things are going! We are 100% transparent and you can trust our work perfectly.
